Re: NC 21 puts cream in its coffee--half American, half international...

Although I am far from any sort of expertise in international noir, I will say that I am surprised that Jerzy Kawalerowicz’s Night Train (1959) has never been screened at NC. Great film, and Polish noir seems barely explored turf. The golden age of Mexican cinema has been reasonably well represented, but I continue to beat the tom-tom for Ismael Rodriguez’s Romance de fieras (1954). I brought this film to Eddie’s attention on Twitter once. If a Greek film is desired, perhaps Nikos Koundouros’s The Ogre of Athens (1956)?
