Not having seen the movie for something like 15 years, I watched this again not long ago. And I had a great time with it. For some reason, I'd thought before that Lucille Ball represented a weakness in the story, but that's not the case at all. Stevens is of course terrifically edgy and jumpy, and Hathaway (one of those guys who still isn't feted anywhere near as much as he ought to be), with the not inconsiderable help of Joe MacDonald, keeps it all tight and looking so stylish.
