I think a day where one showed his low-budget films in the fifties (FOR MEN ONLY, GIRLS ON THE LOOSE, and LIVE FAST, DIE YOUNG) as a matinee triple bill, followed by HOLLOW TRIUMPH and DEAD RINGER, would provide a very satisfying range of entertainment for the noir aficionado. Maybe Alan Rode can do something akin to this in Palm Springs, where he has the "four a day" programming structure. IIRC, he's friendly with Henreid's eldest daughter Monika--who's pushing 80, so maybe it should happen sooner than later, eh?
