My picks for the Brit films would be NOOSE and DAUGHTER OF DARKNESS.
DRUNKEN ANGEL was screened at NC 12, so if we are going to picky (and why wouldn't we be?) we'd set that aside in favor of fresh prospects.
Even though they've been screened by MCP, DEDÉE D'ANVERS and IMPASSE DES DEUX ANGES, two seminal Simone Signoret noirs from France are both from 1948 and would make for a sensational double bill--and it would be great to introduce them to a wider audience (probably two to three times the number of folks who saw these films back in 2014 and 2015).
