It's true that The Argyle Secrets is probably the weakest (quality wise) film that the FNF has restored. I'd love to see them do the hard, perhaps impossible, work to restore Shed No Tears, where Wallace Ford is quite good, but not on a par with his
sleazy role in The Breaking Point, and June Vincent, whose "black widow" makes Liz Scott in Too Late For Tears look like Little Mary Sunshine. She's really a nasty piece of work. The only print of it floating around seems to be a sub par copy from Alpha Video. However, for years, I Wouldn't Be In Your Shoes existed in a marginal looking copy, then about a year ago, a quality (meaning screen ready)copy turned up, so who knows. The same holds true for Without Warning.
