Don't read if you haven't already watched and intend to do so. My take is that the writers had one or two too many plot strands to navigate, which was the downside to adding four additional episodes from the show's customary arc. It was nice to see Richard Thomas as Laura Linney's dad, but some of the action concocted for his character was a stretch.
Those who responded to TV Line's poll asking for voters to "grade" the finale were generally positive, with 62% giving it an "A" or a "B." I gave it a B--more like a B-, actually, but still a B.
