The full award results here--frightfully irrelevant, though Dan K. will likely be disgusted to discover Kate Winslet's Best Actress Award for MARE OF EASTTOWN.
Since these are solely acting awards, they don't give us much sense of how the big-ticket items are going; the one trend that seems to be emerging is that Will Smith is now 2-for-2 in the Best Actor award for KING RICHARD (having previously won the Golden Globe for same).
In the only slot where NIGHTMARE ALLEY had an acting nomination, Cate Blanchett did not prevail in the Best Supporting Actress award, which went to Ariana DeBose for WEST SIDE STORY.
As you'll recall, NIGHTMARE ALLEY has no actors in the hunt for an Oscar. It is now playing in 265 theaters, and over the weekend banked approximately another $31,000 in ticket sales. It has now made just under $11.2 million at the domestic box office; its international total is a little more than double that, at $22.7 million. Ironically enough, the country where it has amassed the biggest box office is--Russia, with just under $3.9 million to date.
