Now look at the list and think about the films that you'd think might get screened at least one more time, and try for that sub-group.
That's trickier, to be sure, but if you think about, you'll probably get most of them.
Two more "odd" features in this schedule:
1) There is only one film in the series that will not receive an introduction from either Eddie Muller (first weekend) or Foster Hirsch (second weekend). A clue: the film features two well-known noir favorites.
2) Films in the festival are screened four times (4 films), or three times (12 films), or only once (12 films). All of the films in that last category would seem to deserve at least two screenings, if only to give festival goers a better chance to see them...but no.
BTW, A DOUBLE LIFE is being screened three times. You might also enjoy trying to guess the three films other than FORCE OF EVIL that will be screened four times...
