A child witnesses the shooting of her stepmother and her father, who was unconscious when the crime occurred, is tried and sentenced to death for murder. Psychiatrists try to help the traumatized child who lapsed into shock.
This M-G-M production is intriguing as it starred Zachary Scott and Ann Southern. What was of greater interest is that Kristine Miller was loaned out for the film and given a more challenging role than her customary assignments from producer Hal Wallis. Future First Lady Nancy (Davis) Reagan appears in the film as one of the doctors treating the girl.
The movie did not make money at the box office, but it deserves a second look.
