I agree with what job #1 has to be in 2012.
I disagree (with all due respect) as to how we accomplish that goal. Put in a true blue unabashed conservative, and let him/her speak their mind. I think he/she will win in a landslide. I do believe we have the blueprint for it from 1980. I guess sticking a moderate in as a V.P. candidate might draw some into the camp, but I don't think many will vote just for that reason.
I think the Country as a whole is much more conservative than the lame street media wnats us to believe.
Case in point.
Reagan= Conservative= 2 times landslide wins.
Bush 1 = moderate= 1 win (because of Reagan coat tails)= 1 term.
Dole= moderate= loss
Bush 2= Conservative= two terms. (I will admit in his 2nd term the conservatism was lacking but conditions and the lack of worrying about a 3rd term was a component)
McCain= moderate = loss.

Do you see a trend here?
