    Club shop/merchandise efficiency

Clubs appear to have about an 18 month turnaround when it comes to designing and producing kits.

Exibit A: Luton. Just promoted to the PL having already been a partner with Umbro for a couple of years before. Complete shit show in regards to kit available for the start of and throughout the whole season.

Exhibit B: Sheff Wed. On ousting the despised Chansiri fella, earlier this year they also had to find a new kit supplier as all current contracts were cancelled once the club had gone into administration. Umbro were chosen and have 2 cracking designs available to pre-order within a matter of months.

I don't know what on earth went on and went wrong towards the end of our time with Umbro but the fact that SW have got it all sorted in a few months from scratch tells its own stories. At least lessons do appear to have been learned now though.

Surely things like sponsors were partly dependent on being in Prem?

Easier to plan if you know are you still going to be in EFL next season.

What, you mean Sheff Wednesday are the epitome of a stable club knowing all their sponsorship deals? Come off it, EE, you can do better than that. Yes, there are some differences in scenarios exampled but Sheffield Wednesday have had to completely start from scratch and managed to get their sponsorship deal sorted.

Is there anyway you can plan for 2 separate scenarios?

Maybe call them Plan A and Plan B

It will also depend on the size of the order, etc and SW has a slightly bigger fanbase than us.

Umbro might have improved their supply chain since we were with them?
