A wonderful man, he did so much for so many without letting on publicly. Not just his friends, his football club, but his town as well.
Can't believe he's been seven years gone. Sweet and Browne came to his funeral.
I'll let you into a secret (uncovered by crumpsall I think): After he left Denbigh he joined the Merchant Navy. On shore leave in 1979 he got arrested at Cambridge; he kept the letter from CUFC giving him a lifetime ban!
Same as Outsider, I've got 25/1 for a 3-1 victory today. People nowadays call it "The Tiddles Bet", but he used to call it "The Miller".....
