The club programme sales are actually very healthy - around 6000 per issue, not bad as a percentage of the crowd. The notes from the boardroom and the Trust Interviews are published online on the club website and emailed out by the Trust too- so they have a decent reach.

I agree wholeheartedly about Facebook, X, Instagram etc but there is also still an audience - and appetite - for communications which go beyond a quick soundbite.

You may not be part of that audience but many other people are. Gosh, some even read proper articles and books!
