Luton Outlaws - Independent Message Board for Luton Town FC

It's well documented on here that I was born and grew up in Derbyshire surrounded by Derby, Forest, Man Utd and Liverpool. But my dad was born in Luton as was my eldest brother. So although my dad had no interest in football as a kid he only got into it when he became a teacher. He did his teacher training in Derby, where he met my mum and stayed in the county. Fortunately at that time in the 80s we were relatively successful so all the teasing and joking was banter.

Bizarrely now though, via quite a few other locations, I live in Dunstable returning to some of my roots.

And whilst my parenting has definitely failed in many areas my boys are both Luton fans, especially my eldest who often goes to games worh mates or on his own and his Luton replica shirt collection is in danger of outnumbering mine!
