Luton Outlaws - Independent Message Board for Luton Town FC

I agree, though I would say, based on yesterday, that we are not as far back as is being suggested. We were up against a beast of a side yesterday, Ashby was being constantly battered including a couple of awful ones miles off the ball which escaped the officials' attention. It was tough out there yesterday though he was a complete cretin for getting sent off like that.

But we did dominate possession (yes I do know), we created lots of attacking possession in their half - Lawrence who was electric towards the end of last season - just looked a shadow of that again. His lack of any kind of spark is a big reason why we aren't flowing. The encouraging side of that is it's exactly how he was last year until he clicked - one for the fingers crossed department.

Marshall, who has done so well so far got plenty of service, including one sumptious through ball from Walsh, but seemed well off his game.

I agree it isn't great at all but I'm not sure we are quite as far off as is being made out.
