    He came as part of a pair when Evans sold up - him and Peter Nelkin. Nelkin of course was drummed out after the disgraceful dismissal of Jimmy Ryan.

    He was finally drummed out when the administrators were called in in the late 90’s (summer 1999 - I think Cliff Bassett may have been instrumental in twisting that particular knife) - he (Kohler) apparently had a petrol bomb put through his letterbox whilst at the helm.

    As an aside I knew someone at that time who had business dealings outside football with him somewhere in Surrey where he lived - apparently he was nigh impossible to do business with.
