I keep telling myself that this is the rough that comes with the smooth and is part of the rich pageant of supporting a football club.

But fuck me, it’s difficult to take a dispassionate view right now. Losing matches is one thing, but we seem to be finding new and exciting ways of doing so every week. No question that the performances and results have undoubtedly improved at home which makes the absolutely spineless surrenders away from home even harder to explain.
