Agree with that. Think the majority knew it was a tough ask to stay up in the PL. I think the fans reaction at West Ham when relegation was confirmed proved that. The Championship season was where we began to see the problems surface mentioned in your last paragraph. This season has seen the problems deepen.
I’ll be eternally grateful for 2020 for saving our club and returning us to the top flight. But they are custodians who are responsible for future direction of our club. Just now it needs fixing and to me it seems some big decisions have to be made.
This club is like no other when it’s together. The fact it’s not is worrying.
