    Mine runs out in October 2026 but my issue date was January 2016. I was totally unaware I only had two weeks left on it so yes, I was lucky but wouldn't be possible for someone not to be allowed to travel on it as it's an EU only rule - assume you meant someone was turned down as they had less than six months left until the expiry date.

    Just arriving in Colmar. Looks like a lovely place.
