Top class young players moving into management, instant respect from playing squad.

I doubt any of our players knew who Bloomfield was, despite him having an excellent player career at this level.

If it is JW and Steve Bould, there can be no similar excuse.

GON and Scott Parker moved very successfully into management soon after retirement and I would expect 2020 are looking at that angle now.

Plus if JW does well there is likely an opportunity for a decent release fee….

Not sure why we have this fascination with former players like Lawless etc, we need a complete change and a huge kick up the arse and some new fresh ideas.

JW played and worked at Arsenal and then did well as coach at Norwich, it’s his time to step up and if he want the job then I would give it to him.

We don’t have much more to lose.
