If you have any involvement in our education system it's obvious to see why: our current education system only works for about a third of students, ar best. We have this ridiculous obsession with English, Maths, and Science meaning that those students who struggle in those subjects but would flourish in art, drama, sport, music etc are never given the resources and therefore the opportunity to thrive so we set up kids to fail and wonder why we have a mental health crisis and students with no hope going into adulthood looking for alternative and unhealthy ways of feeling good about themselves and their futures.
