I mostly get the reasoning behind recruitment ins and outs in other positions, but we've not had a backup LWB since we got rid of Giles in Jan 23.

We knew Alfie was going to leave, but regardless we needed competition for his spot/cover (like we didn't have last season).

It's a really odd one.
