I am no expert on fitness

but it looked to me as though he hasn't recovered fully from the virus that he had during the summmer. He looks as though he is still "drained" and physically doesn't look the same player.

I was surprised to see him start yesterday after playing the whole game on Tuesday. I expected Lonwijk to play instead of him in a position where he looks far more comfortable than he does out on the left.

Having said that, we have a team of highly trained medical and coaching staff who know far more about these things than I do.
