Has Naismith forced us to compromise team setup?

To be clear I really rate and love Naismith as a player.

But it feels like having him forces us to play with a back 3/5, which in turn means we are either outnumbered in midfield - typically our 2 versus 3 for our opponents - or only able to play a single striker.

3-4-3 didn’t work for Edwards, nor for Ruben Amorim, and I fear it won’t work for Bloomfield either.

On Saturday it meant that Reuell Walters became the main player trying to link defence and attack, when against Tottenham it was Baptiste, who was SO much better at it.
