Back in Jan 24 it was stated that the lease on the ground was up for renewal sometime end of this year.
So last year he proposed a merger with Bedford Town, in principle it was agreed.
But that now seems to have stalled, and Bedford FC appears to have restructured before competing in National League North after winning promotion.
That leaves Real Bedford ( who also got promoted) and now in Bedford FCs league last year , in a tiny ground with no room for expansion.
There’s his problem.
I think the bigger picture is the investment that’s coming in soon from Universal, etc…. he’s making moves to be involved somehow, maybe a merger with the Rugby Club
To me if he’s serious, is an eventual approach to the Mongs and some sort of Groundshare?
Problem is , he’s not the sharpest tool in the box with comments he seems to revel in.
He courts fame on a weekly basis, but the truth is he puts himself up as some do gooding local celebrity , but the reality is , he is total prick.
