I know you are obsessed with us signing Michael Cheek but have you considered why we may be taking our time signing a CF?

Pure speculation but Bloomfield may have his heart set on player A, say Al-Hamadi. Player wants to come to us, Ipswich are willing to sell but need some replacements bought in first. Hence why Bloomfield has said we most likely won't complete our signings before Wimbledon game. We also have a plan B if the move doesn't happen.

I don't see the point of bringing in a journeyman striker who would only be 4/5th choice anyway, taking up a squad place and a salary.

I know our recruitment has not been great of late but I have enough faith in the club and management to make the right decisions around such an important position.

If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to put my hands up although I'm pretty sure we will get in at least one very decent striker by the window.
