The people it would be most interesting to is the club we’re buying the replacement from.

It’s completely obvious why the club withhold transfer fees. They don’t want other clubs (and fan) to know what we’re paying or what we’re receiving, as it would only impact negatively on the next negotiation (and the level of expectation of fans, many of whom won’t understand that there is a difference between transfer fee and full cost).
