We signed a CB, so he must be the right fit. Perhaps he's not to the standard yet but neither are Berry, Potts, Pelly, Shea and a few others yet we've kept them around for depth.
I don't think Doughty did overly well there against City and given he's our chief creative player we're doing ourselves a disservice playing him there.
Again, I'm not sure where JJ as a CB has come from other than 5 minutes against City, where he was promptly moved from.
We've got a shot at staying up and have shot ourselves in the foot by relying on an 18 year old wing back and a wing back who can cover CB (while covering 3 other positions).
We did look better once chieo went forward, but the reason him and doughty didn't click is we had an attacking right sided player playing lwb, and an LWB playing CB, while we had a wing back on the bench. Mwdness
