Fires in Scotland

Hope you are all keeping safe,Ronnie has and the sea between him and the main land,But fire travells bird pick up twigs,that a warm,dropped on dry grass could start a fire,

I think the press have jumped on the bandwagon bigtime! In all my years in the Scottish fire service, we always had fires around now.

think it the same in wales,when we where first married Mac was throwing a cigerette end out of the car,windy day thought it had blown back in,had to take everything out of the back seat, didnt find it,Hope that was the last time he did that,But when i saw witch like brooms, Mac said they were to be used in case of a grass fire

Yes Jean in the summer and people burn rubbish in the garden,I have the hose pipe connected and ready,I love the smell of garden fires,
