As a child aways thought of Hatton Hill road as the posh part of litherland ,then to be posh you had to have an inside toilet and a bathroom,Plus a great backgarden,were the house backed onto a house in litherland park,that house had a big Pear tree,if we were lucky the Pear hung over into grans garden,My Grandfather Dickinson was in the middle of buying a house in the Park when he died,I though he made all his money for horse racing,but it was from Stocks and share tips he got from people,he died 9 months before i was born,
