I see where Eileen is coming from, I seem to remember Kings on both sides.
I thought everything stayed the same but actually looking back now shops did move around a bit.

Lawler St.... Kings, later to become the bookies as it became legal. T was the bookie as I remember it. Still not sure of order but there was a chandlers, off licence, laundry? then on the corner of Hinton St the best bread shop for miles around,Masons.
