When we moved there in 1968, there was a small part of Sutton's Place left and Armagh Vale was intact.
About 1969? Sutton's place was cleared revealing the Victorian wall backing onto Litherland Park (can still be seen). I remember an old brickie reparing and repointing the wall. I knew him, but can't recall his surname, I think his first name was Walter?
Armagh Vale was a dead end until the Stable/Barn at the end of the street was demolished at the same time, which meant I could walk up Armagh Vale and get to our house in Mitchell Crescent.
