ive thought the same, and i suspect there is a reason we are not seeing data presented in that context. of course, if theres no evidence of a spike, the corona people credit the measures. its a neat trick. but yes, would absolutely be useful data to have.

respiratory illness deaths for each of the past 5 years. We should see a major spike in 2020. Why is no one showing us this data?
