1906 Damascus Shells and Pressure

Were the 1906 hammer guns 2 3/4 shells? And what would a recommended pressure be just to fire a few rounds in this? I know nothing new, but am in the dark on a low pressure which I know is made. Thank you.

Richard once the gun has been looked at by a qualified gunsmith that knows L.C. Smith's and then approved to shoot I there are a few manufactures making low pressure low velocity shells. RST is one of them. Many of us in the organization shoot old hammer guns many before 1906. There is a good chance yours might have Royal Steel barrels and not Damascus barrels, but Damascus is fine if deemed same.
I would use shells with no higher than 1150 fps, and under 8000 psi.

What are the wall thicknesses of the barrels? Forward end of chamber, 6", 9", 18" and MWT

David I will. I can’t case harden the frame but it’s now in the white and I really don’t want to leave it this way. Any ideas?
