Re: 1906 Damascus Shells and Pressure
Richard once the gun has been looked at by a qualified gunsmith that knows L.C. Smith's and then approved to shoot I there are a few manufactures making low pressure low velocity shells. RST is one of them. Many of us in the organization shoot old hammer guns many before 1906. There is a good chance yours might have Royal Steel barrels and not Damascus barrels, but Damascus is fine if deemed same.
I would use shells with no higher than 1150 fps, and under 8000 psi.
