16ga hammer gun - hammer screw sheared off

As the title might imply, I own a 16ga hammer gun for which I have just experienced a broken screw. After firing the gun, the hammer (luckily) fell in my lap. I haven’t yet been able to find the screw head. |
A few questions:
Who can make a new one?
Will a donor from a 12 gauge work?
Probably not a lot of spare 16ga hammer screws lying around on anyone’s work bench.
Bummer. RST Lite #6. I noticed the screw was loose, so I used my nail to turn it back “tight.” In hindsight, perhaps not the best move. Or maybe the screw was already sheared so it wouldn’t have mattered. Either way, I’m just thankful I didn’t lose the hammer.
Ive always wondered how people lose hammers. Now I know. The screws break and the hammer drops off in the leaves.
Any helpful input is appreciated.
