Orphaned Parts Data Base

The intent of the "Orphaned Parts Data Base" thread is to reunite forends, stocks, and barrels with the original guns.

Please post here with a list of L.C. Smith and Hunter Arms Fulton (only) parts (not frames) or barrels in your possession. Include the SN and grade with each item, and if the part appears to have been from a 2 barrel set.

You may also post if you are seeking the missing forend or barrel from your gun.

Please include your email so members can contact you privately.

Do not list general for sale items such as hammers, internal parts or recoil pads.

NOTE: Guns and frames/actions may only be listed for sale in the Members Only For Sale section.

Ok I will start.

Ser# 129798 - Real nice Regular frame ejector 12 gauge beavertail forearm wood only. It has the banjo plate escutcheon recess as well as the hole and metal bushing for the recoil screw that goes from the front tip back through to the metal.

Ser# RE18866 - real nice forearm metal with all ejector parts and wood for a 12 gauge ejector gun looks to be higher grade with metal exhibiting higher than ideal grade engraving.

I have some other things but will have to dig them out. Here is hoping for an LC Smith love connection.

Serial Number 198011- Splinter Forend, 12 gauge, Field Grade, non-ejector. The forend is on a 12 gauge Wild Fowl Serial Number 198621. It is one of the guns with military markings ordered in 1942. I have always assumed that forends were mis-matched at some point when the guns were broken down for cleaning. The serial numbers of both the gun and the forend are within the ranges stated by Brophy as the numbers of the military marked guns.

I have acquired the original forend and action for gun number FWS 53293. I acquired my pieces at a sale of an old trapshooter/ gunsmith in Indiana.The factory records show that it is a 20 ga Premier Skeet Grade with 26 inch bbls made in 1950. It is a featherweight frame. There were only 77 of these ever made. I would like to find the missing bbls and the butt stock as well as the miller trigger. I gave Macon a single trap for a pattern. It was a straight stock so it may not work for you. DIY? check them out.

I have a FW barrel set numbered FW63722. Pastor Charlie sold the fore end iron and wood to someone several years ago. If for some reason that fore end has not been used and is possibly still available, I would be interested in purchasing it. Thanks for any info on this.

Would like to restore/refurb this fine old gun. But it is missing the entire forearm assembly, but wood grip and steel hardware.

Any assistance on locating replacement parts or BUILDING replacement parts would be appreciated.

I have WILDFOWL serial number 197628. However, I have the forearm with serial number 199734. They are both out of the Rochester ordinance depot order. It would be nice to get this back to the original gun…And it would be nice for me to find the forearm for serial number to 197628.
