1921 FWE 16 ga ejector question

I have a right ejector that the small pin has broke off flush with the back of the ejector. How were these originally installed and I am assuming another pin could be installed for a repair. How should this be done?

Also did the firing pins in this gun vary in size in comparison to the 20 or 12 ga. I also have a broken firing pin on the same side as the broken ejector pin.

I picked this gun up on the broker very reasonable. I do not think the seller could open the gun and as such had very little info and marginal pics but I saw enough to take a chance and picked up a real nice gun with excellent barrels (in/out and sound), good wood and except the two issues above, everything else looks great and original.

OK I am usually not shy at just going at it but what little going at it I have done on this has me throwing in the towel much sooner than usual.

So how do I get in touch with this Lou R fellow?

I either need this ejector repaired or I need a new right 16 ga ejector.

Any other directions or offers of selling/trading parts are welcomed.

Travis is this the part you are talking about? If it is you can see that the pin is pressed in. That is what I told you before.
Here is a print of both, the extractor and steady pin. The hole in the extractor uses a #46 drill (081)

David the broken off part is the steady pin.

I will give it a whack but looking under magnification it sure looks like what is left of the pin is threaded. I will do it tonight and report back.

It is amazing what stuff I will go headlong into and what stuff kind of stumps me.

David you are right the steady pin is driven in but the thing we may have both been missing is that there is a second pin driven across the steady pin from the side of the ejector in order to hold it in place. This has to be drilled out first a sit is a blind pin and doe snot go al the way across the ejector I do not think.

I under magnification I can see where the second pin is actually breaking through the face of the extractor by me trying to whack the steady pin out without first removing the second pin.

OH well it had to happen. The extractor is not beyond repair but I imagine some tig is the future.

Anyone want to sell me a spare so I can at least get up and running for the dove opener?

Travis, you lost me about a second pin being driven across the steady pin from the side. Could you point that out in the print.
There is no second pin in the split extractor/ejector stem, the only thing holding this in is a screw that is located in the barrel lump, unscrew this and the split stem will come out.

Look at the middle sketch and the note for "steady pin dowel pin" and you will also see the hole drawn across the face of the ejector plate. Inspected my 12 ga ejectors and I can faintly see this second pin on each of those as well.

I only found this after looking at the cracking ejector and wondering what it was that was coming through and then studying the print it all made sense.

Travis, it was hard understanding what you meant by dowel in the second pin so I went and took an ejector gun's extractors out. I think the dowel you meant is the one in the barrel that holds the extractor/ejector actuator pin in. If this is not the case I have no idea what you mean.
