Mike: If the gun letters as a long range then it's a LR even if not stamped in my opinion. If the gun is stamped LR and doesn't letter as a LR I would be very suspicious and examine the stamp very carefully. The letter carries more weight in my opinion. The factory records are not perfect, mistakes were made all the manufactures in record keeping. Craig
