Jason, You have learned first hand why there is a love/hate relationship with Hunter One Triggers (HOT), among this Association. When they work correctly they are great. However, when they don't they are problematic. HOTs are very complicated to work on even for most experienced "double" gunsmiths. In my opinion the best HOT guy in the business(one of a few) is Jerry Andrews 304-843-1740 jskve@aol.com. I have three with HOTs and he has fixed two of them. I would give him a call. I would not, however, mess with it yourself.
