Case Color Fading - Florescent Light Effect?Archived Message

I'm looking for a confirmation. I was speaking with an un-named gunsmith and he said that Florescent lights will fade the case colors on a shotgun. When I said that I knew UV rays from the sun would do that, he insisted that Florescent light would have the same effect as well. Can any of you confirm that both forms of light will cause case color fading? Or just UV sunlight? Thanks
