The only thing that fades case colors is wear/rubbing. Light does not affect case color. My good friend Oscar Gaddy proved this years ago.
Case color is a very thin layer of colored oxides. Less than .001! I have a Parker that is 100% color that has sat in a glass case for 30 years, no effect.
