Can't assemble a 12 Ga because the top lever/coupler/bolt seems to be frozen to the receiver. Also the lever is slightly proud of the receiver top surface so the lever column? won't extend into the trigger plate. Tried several of the popular suggestions to depress the lever leaf spring to actuate the lever, even to the point of bending the top lever trying to center it. Not real familiar with the mechanism. Is there something that locks the bolt when in open position, or is the bolt seized into the frame some way? Stockmaker wants to know what's going on here. Thanks for any suggestions.
