In my opinion that H.O.T was ordered with the trigger in the front position (the same location as the front trigger on a double trigger gun; and the trigger position typically used to determine Length of Pull). Hunter offered H.O.T. users the choice of trigger location; front, mid (halfway point between the location of the front and rear triggers on a two-trigger gun), and rear. I've used Smith guns with triggers in all three positions; and if not shooting with thick gloves, prefer the front trigger location. The other two trigger positions work much better with thick gloves used during cold winter conditions.
