I had a guy bring me a LC Smith it says its pat in 88 and has three different dates on the inside of the receiver. the serial number is 1600 something. Its got a crack in the stock just behind the trigger guard and up to the back of the safety the checkering is really faded also. someone repaired the crack but it is still really visible they also put on a different recoil pad and a clear spacer to add to the LOP. He asked me if I could fix it up for him. What do you recommend. I'm in Minnesota if you know any specialists in this area.
