    Bird Hunting Archived Message

Took out my 1892 A1 a while ago for the second time. It can be quite the adventure when using another double barrel. It doesn't fit me as well as my stroger and I kept forgetting to adjust to it when the pressure was on. One bird got up and as I put pressure on the trigger it went off before I had it on my shoulder. Yet I got it at 10 yards because my hand on the forearm was pointing it out. Nothing left to eat though. Never had a gun with ejectors before. They can get your attention. Plus open it fully to cock it. I thought I broke something the first time it didn't fire.I guess it will take some time to really shoot good with it. It is a great feeling hunting with it, also a little scary as its not just a field grade. You know $$$$$$. Anybody else with weird issues .
