Joe, thanks and yes I am still collecting serial numbers for all hammer guns and Syracuse hammerless guns.
Serial number 86686 is from 1901 and for the longest time I had not seen a serial number in this block and thought that there were no guns made. That was until another member told me he had one in this block of numbers. It had to be at least 6 years and finally one now two showed up.
Thanks again to you and everyone that has helped with collecting these. As of now I have 404 hammer gun serial numbers from 1889 to 1927 and many with pictures.
