    I believe the front upper portion of the bridle retains the pin in the hole by catching the collared area of the pin. I encountered a similar situation when I got the pins turned around. Flipped them back and fixed the issue. If that doesn't solve it, adjustments w/ the pin or bridle will likely need to be made.
