    firing pins Archived Message

    A friend of mine has a field grade 16 bore that on one barrel the firing pin drops into the receiver when the gun is held muzzle high. The opposing pin remains in position just inside the standing breech. What retains the pins in the correct position when the gun is cocked? Thanks for the help.
