The best way I found use's no special tools or altering the stock. Clamp the stock in a padded vice with trigger facing up. Invert a drill bit into post hole, slide the trigger assembly over the bit. Using a DANDELION fork resting on the trigger assembly, push and it snaps right into place with no damage to the threads. I've done this a number of times and it works great.
